A Space for Deep Transformation

A sacred space to return to yourself.

Where the body can soften, the mind can grow quiet, and a deeper clarity can emerge.

Andrea Sofía

A practice built on lived experience.

I accompany processes of transformation through a practice built on my own experience. My work brings together body, breath, sound, energy, and presence, respecting the pace of each person and each group.

For me, every session is a ceremony: it includes preparation, an opening, a journey, and a closing. I maintain a daily practice of listening, care, discipline, intention, and inner work so that I can hold each space with all the respect it deserves.

This is where ALTARA begins: a sacred and safe space for creating experiences in which we can listen to ourselves again with greater truth, sensitivity, honesty, and love.

A person resting in an intimate space of care and stillness

The Space

A sacred space to pause and return to yourself.

A place to step back, for a moment, from what is happening outside and give yourself time to be with yourself.

The intention is to create a calm and caring environment where you can relax, feel safe, and allow the experience to unfold without pressure.

You do not need to arrive knowing what you are looking for. Simply give yourself permission to be present and listen to what arises.

The Process

The session begins with an intention and a moment to breathe and pause.

From there, different practices may support the journey: conscious breathing, music, sound, movement, energy work, and whatever the encounter calls for.

There is no experience to achieve and no right way to live it. It may feel peaceful, profound, emotional, or simply quiet. The invitation is to remain present and let the process unfold without forcing it.

What You May Experience

Every experience is different. During a session or ceremony, bodily sensations, emotions, memories, images, movement, changes in breathing, or simply moments of stillness and silence may arise.

There is no correct experience, and we do not seek to bring about anything specific.

Each person experiences the encounter differently. The invitation is to observe what arises without forcing or judging it.

What Also Needs to Be Heard

Sometimes, when we pause, emotions, memories, fears, or patterns emerge that we usually keep outside our awareness.

The aim is not to fight them or force them to change, but to recognize them more clearly, understand how they affect us, and relate to them in a different way.

This shift in perspective can take us from reaction to presence, from fear to understanding, and from noise to listening.

Memory and Lineage

Looking into our history.

Part of our present is also shaped by the stories, relationships, and lessons we receive from those who came before us.

Exploring lineage does not mean finding an explanation for everything we are. It is an opportunity to look at our history with greater awareness and love, recognize what we have received, give thanks, and decide what we want to keep, transform, or leave behind.

Knowing where we come from can also help us choose where we want to go.

Herbs, water, and natural elements used in ceremonial preparation

Ceremonial Elements

Sessions may include different ceremonial elements such as music, prayers, instruments, Agua Florida, and ceremonial tobacco.

Each element is part of my personal way of preparing and holding the ceremony. Its use depends on the nature of each encounter and is always guided by respect, presence, and care.

These are tools that accompany the experience; they are not its center.

Group Experiences & Collaborations

The work can be adapted to private sessions, groups, retreats, and larger events.

For group experiences, the structure is designed around the intention of the encounter and the group's needs, supporting both the collective and each person while respecting every participant's autonomy and individual pace.

The work may include live instruments, sound, and guided integration meditations, depending on the format and theme of the retreat.

Preparation & Care

Come in comfortable clothing, stay hydrated, and allow a few extra minutes so you can arrive without rushing. Ideally, leave 3–4 hours after your last substantial meal.

Avoid alcohol and psychoactive substances on the day of the session.

Before booking, please share whether you are pregnant, have a heart condition, epilepsy, recent surgery, a history of psychotic episodes, or any relevant medical condition or medication.

If your heart already hears the call, we are already waiting for you.

These experiences do not replace medical or psychological care.
